On Friday morning, I attended an Encouragers’ meeting, and I could sense that the Lord was about to move. We sang a few songs, and suddenly, a lady was flung to the floor, twisting and turning. We raised our hands and prayed over her, and though she seemed to have peace, it wasn’t complete. After a few more minutes of prayer, the peace of God came over her through the blood of Jesus. She said, “I’m healed,” and sat up. I hugged her, and we were both blessed by the Spirit of God.
In the afternoon, we had some free time and then dinner with Pastor Liz, Noel, Lynda, and another couple. It was a lovely evening, filled with laughter as we shared stories from the week.
On Saturday morning, a youth group from C3 Church came for a BBQ. After the meal, I shared a scripture with them—Revelation 3:1–3—which sparked a wonderful discussion. Some of the young people had never been to church before but said they would attend on Sunday to hear me speak.
That evening, we went out for dinner, and as we left, the people at the next table said, “You had fun, didn’t you?” We replied, “Yes, and we didn’t even need alcohol!” They didn’t quite understand, but they wanted to join us because we were so full of life in Christ.
The whole week had been amazing, with excitement building for Sunday. I visited many home groups with the church, and there was such a buzz.

Sunday morning at C3 Blenheim was wonderful. Pastors Geoff and Liz welcomed me, and I thanked them for adopting me—no one has ever adopted me before, and I was so blessed by it. I shared an accountability report of my time there, showed two videos, and told a few stories of what God has done. I closed with Psalm 105:1 and asked everyone to join hands in a chain as I prayed over them—it was powerful.
The 6 p. m. service in Picton was also wonderful. After songs and two videos, I shared more testimonies of God's work. A Māori pastor prayed over me, and I was greatly blessed.
By then, I was losing my voice, so I rested that night.
On Monday morning, the ferry to Wellington was cancelled, but I was blessed with a flight instead. Pastor Liz mentioned that someone had noticed my shoes were worn down on one side, so we went shoe shopping. I found the perfect pair—just right for Africa!
I flew to Wellington, and the next day I travelled on to Auckland and then to Whangarei.
