Reflections of 2024
What does it mean for God to be who you need? How is God greater than any other thing your heart desires? When it comes to your work, are you more focused on meeting the expectations of others or on fulfilling what you believe God has in mind for you?
I believe we need to make changes in our daily lives to break free from the chains that hold us back, freeing ourselves from the fear of what lies ahead. In doing so, we might discover something deeper as we seek God in our lives and our relationships with others.
We understand that God uses all experiences for our growth and refinement, so it's important to reflect on what we have learned from difficult times. So, what have we learned from difficult times?
If our careers become the bedrock of our identities and security, and when that foundation shakes, we are pushed to confront deeper questions about where our worth and stability lie. Identities and security: when the foundation shakes, we are pushed to confront deeper. Pray that you will be challenged, renewed and encouraged, by dwelling in his word.
Dear family, friends & prayer partners
As 2024 finishes, I'm returning from Uganda and Lima, trying to get everything organized before the year ends, including newsletters and correspondence. I'm focused on winding up my finances and getting them in order so I can start the new year fresh. I love how the Chinese put everything in order before the new year starts, settling all my bills and making a clean start.
OX-TLC International School in Dongguan China.
Treasures of Hope.
The message to the teachers and staff, "Tell the students what we do, and dwell on what treasures of hope do." Do you know who they are? Or who do we reach? Try to understand why we do this. The world is so big, and what Sandra King has done is an amazing story, but it's not just a story; it's real life, and now she's going to start another orphanage on another continent in Uganda.
How important it is to bless the world and not just ourselves.
The OX-TLC International school of Dongguan China.... Gift to "A Kiwis House of Aroha". Sent from the parent community there...
Blessed by the student body and committed to by the leadership for ongoing support and partnership!
We stand with Uganda! And we stand with every work of the Lord is birthing in the heart and spirit and ministry of Sandra King.
We are asking if other schools want to do this, I'm happy to share images and design if they want to take on this project.
The kids get to wear their hoodies tomorrow. Shine and soar in 2025.
This is from the school, thank you to everyone who participated in our fundraiser for Uganda!!! We were able to raise 5000 RMB to help with the startup of a Kiwi house of Aroha."
Just by raising awareness by selling hoodies!!
Sandra King has sent us her love and we assured her we will continue to support her in the coming years.
Chris and Melissa are on the board of the International School in Dongguan China and Melissa asked me if they could do a fund raising for the African orphans and she got the hoodies printed and sold them to the students as an awareness.
These are the photos she provided proceeds of the sale of these hoodies will go to the work in Africa.
Again, I thank you all so much for your support and love for us. Sandra
A Ministry Built on Faith and Prayer
The only executive of this ministry is the one and only, the Lord Jesus Christ. As we all work together as servants, by serving him. All glory to God. The faithful saints of long ago Marge Green was just one of them. No one is greater than the other. I want to take this opportunity to thank all those on our team for "The Kiwis House of Aroha", they make this ministry possible.
Pastors Russell Watts and Juliette, church unlimited Whangarei. The Lord led me there to support Russell, and I did that until he left at the end of 2024. For the last three years, I have been in this family. My dear brother thanks for your support and for having faith in me. I will be praying for you.
Pastors Geoff and Liz Conner from Blenheim C3. I am so very happy that this church has adopted me. Even though I'm in Whangarei at the top of NZ they are in Blenheim near the top of the South Island. We are in good contact with each other. God's timing is always perfect, after speaking at C3 church in Blenheim in 2024 I went to wash my hands I heard the Lord say, "This is she". It immediately brought back to my mind, what the Lord had told me many years earlier, "There is a woman in the future, who would help you with the work you will know who this is when you meet her" it was so true. As the Lord orders our steps scripture here, he knows the plans he has made for us.
Jeremiah 29v 11 "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
God's networking building a people of power.
David and Rose Brackfield live in Rotorua and have known me since I was nineteen years old. I have just found out that after all these years David was born in Kampala; God knew that David and Rosemary were part of his plan for this time.
Glenys Jackson, I met Glenys while taking Bibles into China with Hoshana Outreach in 1991. When standing on the footpath in Hong Kong, I found out that she was from Whanganui and I was from Hawera one hour away from each other! A dear sister in the Lord. It was from this first meeting that Glenys became a part of this ministry. The Faith City Church in Whanganui has been instrumental in this ministry. These women were mighty warriors for the Lord. I would just ring and say I need prayers not even telling them what it was for they swung into action. That was almost forty years ago now, this ministry is based on all those prayers of past saints.
Gail and Dr Gene Russell, are from the States, but now are Kiwis. In 2019, I met them here in Whangarei. They told me of their travels, they taught English in Taiwan and China and also spoke some Chinese. Who would have thought that God brought us together through the church and Chinese?
Alena and Gaz Walsh live in Wellington. She is my assistant who helps me with General problems booking flights in New Zealand and also getting my books out to people in New Zealand. She is the beloved daughter of Glenys. [email protected] If you want me to speak to your church or group or want the books please contact Alena.
Brian and Milla Huaiquimil, I met them in Whangarei in 2024 They were from Argentina. They came to my caravan to pray and have Chinese tea. It was there that Milla told me she has computer skills and said that she wanted to bless the ministry by doing the newsletter. They returned to Argentina in 2024. But I continue to send my written word for the news for Milla to get this ready and align it all up with small photos in place. Which looks so professional Milla works with Edwin.
Edwin Zhao lives in Tauranga and serves as the tech backbone of Sandra King's ministry. If you’d like to receive the newsletter or have someone else added to the distribution list, please email Edwin at [email protected]. Allan Lu, lives in Auckland and he posts at his own expense, the English and Spanish books to buyers in New Zealand if you wish to buy these books, please contact [email protected].
Helle and Rene Van Lune, have Bethany Gardens at Maungatapere Whangarei, Rene was an elder at a church in Whangarei. When I emailed the church from China to ask if anyone knew where I could stay when I came home in 2019? This couple both said yes. I stayed for almost a year.
I travelled around and stayed at many places, sleeping on couches, and being homeless for eight months, until I bought a caravan with the pension. I'm more flexible to go where the Lord wants me to go. I've now gone right around in a circle and back to where I started with Helle and Rene six years ago. I have my caravan now parked up on their property, they will use it while I'm in Uganda.
"The Kings Ministry" of the Whanganui prayer team of intercessors are from the faith city church Whanganui and a powerful group they have been for many years.
"The kingdom intercessors". They are also great powerful spirit-filled people for praying for the people and ministry.
TLC, Intercessors supporters and donations.
Retired ambassador ladies who post and pay for the newsletters go out to those who don't have a computer and they want to pray and support us.
For all the people who have made a ministry of opening up their homes. You have made me welcome God bless you and thank you. For the people who are promoting my books and selling them, all proceeds go to the work in Uganda and the orphanage.
Denis and Tina Timmins, from Whangarei. They have a wonderful ministry of driving me three hours to the Auckland International Airport seeing me off or picking me up on my return to New Zealand. I just love our stopover to get the almond croissants every time I come home.
Michelle and Grant. Have a ministry of taking me to the bus or plane in Whangarei when I leave to go out of town. All these things are servant hearts.
My precious mentors, you both are an amazing support thank you.
The sister close to me interceded on my behalf to the throne of grace. And for warning me when necessary.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, all of you THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
Testimony
Pastor John Xing of the Hamilton Mandarin Church invited me eight months ago to visit them. So, you can imagine the excitement of waiting that long they were all so hungry and ready.
They received me very warmly and I was very happy. They gave me room in their B&B. I spoke to the worship team that night for a few minutes, informing them the theme for the Sunday meeting was "God's timing and our time".
Sunday morning it was arranged that the pastor would go to church early and we would go later. I was invited to have breakfast with Mum and her twin boys. Sitting at the table, after a while one boy got up leaving the table. When I sensed the Lord wanted to talk with this boy. I said, Mum promptly called him back to the table.
The Lord said to me "to tell him something about himself that he doesn't know."
I asked, "Is it okay to pray for you?", "yes", "can I tell you something you don't know?" He said yes.
I started in my soft grandmother's voice: "Do you know when you were in your mum's tummy and it was nice and warm in there, you were comfortable, then you were born? It is a hard world out there? When you took your first breath, there was someone in the room, a doctor or nurse, who spoke bad words over you. That none of it was true, what they said was curses they put on you, and said things like this. You would be depressed, unhappy, frustrated, angry and many other things, all this is not true, it is a lie". He was crying and the tears flowed down his cheeks as he was sobbing.
We prayed and he reconfirmed His love for Jesus and he forgave the ones who spoke those words and we finished with a blessing prayer and hugged.
It was time to get to the church as pastor John was already there, the family went running in to tell Dad what had happened. The pastor came to see me with the boy hugging Dad's leg, and a smile emerged and it was all good.
-"The theme for my message today was God's timing and our time. Are we wasting the time he's given us?"- After the worship, the pastor spoke to the congregation. He told them this morning at breakfast time, today we had a miracle in our home for my son. Sandra heard from the Lord and she had to pray for the boy, she did, he cried all the time. Sandra was talking to him and she told him he was a baby just born and someone in the room cursed him as soon as he was born and Sandra broke the curses that were over him. He forgave them who cursed him, reaffirming his dedication to Jesus, and he was healed.
Everyone clapped and applauded, but He said "This is not the end of the story because today is the twins' birthday and they are 12 years old. Again, they all clapped. But He said, Sandra didn't know they were born at 9 am the same time as Sandra was praying for him. In the spirit was the same time they were born". God's timing is always perfect.
So the stage was set for my talk. It was about God's timing and our time. Praise the Lord. All Glory to God.
Now this story needs prayers, please.
Akagyera Princess Komugyera. She was a young girl playing in a tree and fell out and damaged her back. After many tests and things, she was carried for most of her life until she got a wheelchair.
Fabas Jammoo lives in the north of Kampala district of Nebbi he helps so many people and has some young men on his team and they go to build houses for those who are really in need. So he went down south to the Ntungamo district to help build a house for this lady Princess so she could sew and knit in her own house to make money to survive. Fabas is very thankful for all the prayers and help he has been receiving. He took a team down with him. It took many hours by bus together and they started to build. I have been watching the days go by and them making progress. But because the blocks and things they need are so much more expensive in the south than up north in Nebbi they ran out of money, so they went back up north again to wait on the Lord and see what He will do.
Please contact Fabas Jammoo directly if you can help once again it is time to pray. WhatsApp number is +256 784688357.
