I arrived back in China on the 3rd November at 5 in the morning after my month trip to New Zealand. It was sad to say goodbye to my family at the airport. There were quite a lot of tears and hugs, we had to say goodbye quickly.

My trip to back to China was strange on my own. My suitcase was quite heavy coming back so I had a driver come and pick me up from the Guangzhou airport which was great because then I didn’t have to lug my heavy suitcase around.
When I arrived back at the House of Grace, everything appeared to be in order. The babies were all okay and there were no illnesses. I was thankful that there was a lady who was able to sleep in the Home for the whole month I was away, it gave me peace of mind.
In 2016, five babies have died and we have had 10 adopted. At present, there are 20 children in the Home. Our babies fluctuate from 20 to 45, often an increase at Christmas and Chinese New Year.
This coming year in 2017, I will be going to the South Island in New Zealand. I would really like more contacts to visit people there and talk to them about the work in China. I’m thinking sometime in March or April but the dates are yet to be confirmed. In September and October, I will be going to France, England and Jersey. I have contacts there and it has been a number of years since I have visited them.
I need to find a couple who can come and housesit the Home for one month each year, either in March/April or September/October. These are usually the dates when I am able to get away. If it’s on your heart, please pray about it and then contact me.
Ruth is in New Zealand. She has gotten a job working at a restaurant in Whangarei and does basically 3 nights a week at the moment. She’s saving this money for university. University in New Zealand doesn’t start until March. She also feels in her heart that there is a call for her to go to a university in America, so we are waiting on the Lord for that. Ruth has to sit a SAT exam in January. If she passes the SAT then it will help her get into university in America. In the meantime, Ruth has been looking for scholarships that she’ll need to go to university.
I wish everyone has a wonderful Christmas, remembering the reason for the season. 2017 is the Year of the Rooster. I wish everyone has a great new year and Chinese new year. I will update you then.
